YEARBOOK PHOTOS!
Our yearbook pictures for choirs will all be taken in class on Monday!  It's a 25-pt. assignment, so please make sure you have your performance attire for class.  PLEASE make sure everything is nicely ironed/pressed and that you have your shoes and socks/tights.  Women: yes, you must wear lipstick but no, your hair does not have to be up.  Everyone: hair must be off your face!  You will get a few minutes at the beginning of class to change and make sure you look terrific.

All seniors: we will also take individual photos for the end-of-the-year display in the lobby at our Finale Concert.  Make sure you look sharp!

THIS WEEK'S HOMEWORK
This week's homework is on intervals.  Please wait until after we talk about it in class on the block day before you attempt it.  Due: Friday, 2/8 (extra day because of the trip/photos)

PETER AND THE STARCATCHER FIELD TRIP
THE TRIP IS THIS WEEK!  Please make sure you have dialogued with all your teachers to make sure you won't be missing something critical.

Remember, you will need to bring a lunch that day.  We will be eating in the Rose Garden AFTER the show.  Think smart and pack things you can snack on before so you will survive until  after!

TOUR
Note:  There is a mandatory tour meeting for all travelers and a parent/guardian on Wednesday, February 7, beginning at 7:30 pm SHARP in the Black Box Theater.  Please come early to sign in and be seated.  At that meeting, you will receive itinerary, packing and last details for our trip, as well as hear from our administration.  You must be present for our meeting or you will not be allowed to travel.

If you have not turned in your tour form yet, please be prepared to do so tomorrow (Monday) at lunch.  There are over 40 people who have yet to do so; plan to spend all of lunch waiting in line.  I *did* warn you...

I need some students for community service!  If you are able to help, let me know.  You will be needed from 6:30-8:30 pm.

MUSIC BOOSTER MEETING: THURSDAY
A special treat this meeting: our music booster meeting will also be the recital performance for our incoming Tri-M class! Come support our Tri-M students and hear the latest happenings for our department.  The meeting will start promptly in Room 40 at 7 pm.

DEBTS
It's a scary number, folks: choir students owe a whopping $17538.94.  Most of that is for tour ($11,994.34) but there is still $5,544.60 owed by everyone else.  Yikes.  Not sure if you owe money?  Check this page.

Debts must be paid by April 15.  After that date, you will be put on the school deficiency list.

Please take advantage of the next announcement to help yourself out
.

"SING" RAFFLE BASKETS
The ultimate fundraiser!  Bring items for the raffle baskets that we'll have at our "Sing" concerts.  We are especially seeking big-ticket items: tickets for events, hotel or cabin stays, or gift cards.
You'll get a share of the raffle proceeds for the event, based on the number of items you donate.

The obvious is to bring in items that you/your family got for the holidays that you KNOW you'll never use.  As an example: if your family received a gift card for a steakhouse and you're vegetarian, or if you got a blender and you never use the one you already have.  All items have to be brand-new.

I'm seeking parent volunteers to assemble the baskets for us.  If your parent is a raffle expert and can help us with that, please let them know and have them sign up to be a basket coordinator!

Start signing up now!  All the details are on this page:
http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0e49aba82faa8-2018

The class with the biggest average of donations will get a PIZZA PARTY; the class with the 2nd biggest gets donuts.  We will divide the number of donations by the number of students, so all classes regardless of size have an even playing field.  So, get signed up!  Items are due next week!
