DECEMBER 12: CHOIR WINTER CONCERT
Make a note of it: our choir winter concert will be held on Tuesday, December 12, beginning at 7 pm at the Black Box Theater.  Tickets can be purchased at the door ($10 general/$5 students) or ordered online here:  http://www.lincolnperformingarts.com/music-events-and-tickets.html

Don't forget our combined rehearsal on Monday, 12/11, lunch for ALL SINGERS.  It is required!

Due to the performances this week, quizzes may be made up at lunch on Thursday and Friday.  The last day to make up missing quizzes is next Tuesday, 12/19.

PERFORMANCE REPORT
The template for the Fall Performance Report is now available on your blog (http://lincolnchoirs.edublogs.org/2017/11/27/fall-2017-performance-report-information/).  IT IS DUE THIS Friday, December 15.  Remember, you need to complete it on or before that date AND print a copy to bring to class that day. 

Suggestions for possible concert reviews:
Dec. 13-Castillero Season of Hope Concert, St. Joseph's Cathedral, 7:30 pm (free)
Dec. 13-Orchestras Winter Concert, SJSU Concert Hall, 7:30 pm ($5 students)
Dec. 14-Bands Winter Concert, SJSU Concert Hall, 7:30 pm ($5 students)
Dec. 14-Hoover Choirs Concert, Hoover Gym, 7 pm ($5 admission)

Remember, this is a lot of points on your grade.  Make sure that you get it done and get your paper printed out in time for class.

CHOIR FINAL
The final for choir is in two parts:
•Participation in the Winter Concert
•Mega Quiz (50 points), Tue 12/19 on all theory and history aspects so far

DECEMBER 22: SEASON OF HOPE CONCERT
We will be in the St. Joseph's Season of Hope Concert Series!  The performance will be on December 22, beginning at 7:30 pm at St. Joseph's Basilica Cathedral in downtown San Jose.  Call time:  5:30 pm.  Singers will all get 3 hours of community service.  If you haven't already RSVP'd, do so here.

The Unsung Hero is someone who has selflessly gone above and beyond to help, inspire and be a positive example to his/her colleagues.

This week’s hero is  Ariana Castro, who sings in Women's Choir.  Ariana's sweet spirit and willingness to help are a terrific asset to the Choral Program!
