In case you didn't get the handout, the photos at the bottom of this post will explain them. Have a look at page 2 and be ready to submit your email addresses! Prizes are given if you have them at your class's meeting, so...be ready! QUIZ B Last Friday we didn't have time for our quiz. Plan to take it on Monday! SEE'S CANDY See's orders are due to me (with payment) on Wednesday. Even number class periods, set an alarm so you don't forget! SUCCULENT SOCIETY! For those who want community service: we are going to work on updating Ms. Cahn's memorial garden by the Lincoln Center. This week is a really fun week: the plants go into the ground!! Here's the rough plan: Tuesday, 1/29: Plant succulents, put down weed barrier and spread mulch Wednesday, 1/30: Put down rocks and finish anything left You will earn one hour of community service per session. Please bring shovels, spades, and gardening gloves if you have them (make sure your name is on them!) Be prepared: we might go over into lunch. Rain or shine! Meet in my classroom so that we can leave your stuff secure and so we can get everyone signed in (and therefore no advisory except for those working in the garden). THIS WEEK'S HOMEWORK This week's homework is on note values/complete the measure. Get the assignment done before this week's quiz and your class will automatically get 2 XCR points! HARMONICS REHEARSALS Students going on tour: we will have lunch rehearsals this week on Monday and Thursday, as well as our first extended rehearsal this Saturday, 2/1 from 10 am - 3 pm. Be ready to work hard! BLOG PEER EDIT MAKEUP If you missed last week's blog peer edit, please plan to attend the make-up on Wednesday at the beginning of lunch. GRADE FIX FORM Grades have been updated (it's my new semester resolution) and are now calculating. If something is wrong with your grade, please fill this form out: tinyurl.com/gradefixes. You'll receive an email when I've addressed your concern. It is never too late to fix an incorrect grade. Remember, I only work on grades on Wednesdays and Sundays, so do not expect an instant update. Please allow a week for the update to reflect.
