BLOG PEER EDIT Our next peer edit will be on Monday, May 7. Make sure you're caught up and ready to go, because if your blogs are not to performance standard, you will be required to attend a blog-writing seminar on Saturday, May 19.
AUDITIONS FOR 2018-19 Callbacks will be held on Monday, May 7, from 5-6 pm (Chamber Chorale/Bellissima) and 6-7 pm (Estetica). You must be present to be considered.
DEBTS The debt list is now $6747.18. Look at the debt list here. All names have been submitted to Student Services and are now on the school deficiency list.
It is always possible to extend the time needed to pay debt. Please see me ASAP to arrange a plan if it is needed.
ICE CREAM SOCIAL Our final fundraiser of the year: an old-fashioned ice-cream social! It will be on Thursday, May 17, from 4-6 pm, and will also feature the final performance of the Harmonics (beginning at 5:15 pm).
Tickets cost $7, which gets guests 2 big scoops of ice cream and unlimited toppings! Students will get $5 for each ticket they sell for their account. Tickets will go on sale on April 2 and must be purchased in advance (so we know how much to buy!) If people complain that it is too much money, you can remind them that it *is* a fundraiser/performance AND...UNLIMITED TOPPINGS!!
Harmonics: we will have a lunch run-thru of your music on Monday, May 14. Make sure that you have listened to the music before then and practiced it for yourself!
SPRING SEMESTER PERFORMANCE REPORT Time to start writing! Here is the link for your report. http://lincolnchoirs.edublogs.org/2018/05/07/spring-2017-performance-report/ Your draft is due Monday, May 21., and your report must be submitted before the end of school on Friday, May 25. CHOIR FINALS The finals for all classes are as follows: I. Participation in Finale Concert (100 points) and II. Memory Page Project (50 points) Make a memory page for Miss Katemopoulos's "yearbook." It can be up to 12"x12", but should be flat enough to fit in a scrapbook. It must include the following: •Student name •Picture of student •Favorite song(s) sung this year •A little biographical information, i.e. year in school, what student enjoys doing, hobbies, etc... •A little "yearbook"-type message •Student signature and date •AND...ANYTHING ELSE that you wish that will make the page unmistakably yours: collage, poem, drawings, stickers...whatever you want!
You can design it all online and print it out if you wish, or you can use the old-fashioned technique of glue and scissors. There will be some free supplies for you to use if you wish, or you can provide your own paper/supplies.

The Unsung Hero is someone who has selflessly gone above and beyond to help, inspire and be a positive example to his/her colleagues.
This week's unsung hero is Blanca Castillo, who sings in Bellissima. Blanca is amazing every day, but she was beyond wonderful at the concert—she even missed her own performance with one group because she was busy working for us. Selfless is her middle name and I am truly grateful for her dedication.
This is the place where you will find all the latest information for our program. Make sure you bookmark this page and read it after 7 pm on Sundays.
